FRANCE BERRIOS

As a proud immigrant who was born and raised in Venezuela, Ms. Berrios was able to experience firsthand the challenges of living in a country with political and economic instability. Her mother being a university professor and her father, himself a lawyer, emphasized the importance of social responsibility, advocacy, and justice from a young age. After moving to this great country in 2019, France was able to experience the struggles faced by many in our community. The criminal justice system can be daunting and confusing, especially for those who are not familiar with the laws of their new country. This drive to help her fellow immigrants navigate the complexities of the legal system has led her to pursue a career as a legal Administrative Assistant at The Arroyo Law Firm. 

 

For France, one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is being able to offer a helping hand to those who may feel overwhelmed in difficult circumstances. By assisting at The Arroyo Law Firm she is able to connect people with the highly professional and skilled attorneys at the firm, who in turn provide information about clients' rights and explain the legal process in a clear and understandable way. In addition to offering practical support, she also takes great pride in advocating for the rights of immigrants within the legal system. She believes that everyone deserves a fair trial, regardless of their immigration status. 

 

Reading and being outdoors are her biggest hobbies. As she always says, reading opens her mind to a different world of possibilities and knowledge, not to mention it was a key tool to help her learn the English language which today has opened a new world of opportunities for her. For France, going outdoors is one of the most fulfilling experiences, because it allows her to connect and be present, to respect and to understand the planet where we live. Aside from reading and going outdoors, she enjoys spending time with family and loved ones. Family is the pilar of everything and she is proud of being raised in a family that loved spending every time possible together, whether it’s a cozy dinner at home, a weekend getaway, a holiday, or a family outing.
